I am not dead! But my PC sure was. I finally did get a new PC, but now the versions of Photoshop, Dreamweaver and my old scanner do not work as well with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium. I do plan on getting them all replaced in time at least. I know this is not a real update and all, but it's better than nothing. I am extremely busy with work so I do not have as much time to create art like I used to, but really need to make time to make some real art besides sketching in my sketchbooks.

I am back with a new update for the web site. I have added a new sketch to the sketch gallery. This was was done as a junior at SVA for a game board, the board didn't come out all that great but I always liked the sketch, so here it is. Also I added a new link for fellow SVA alumni and former classmate Dave Nilsen, so go check out his web site, once you are done here.

I added another image to the Sketch Gallery. The one was created way back when I was a freshman at SVA from an older sketch which I did which was then photoshoped with a photograph.

I have updated the Sketch Gallery with what else but a sketch. This one I did pretty fast, well most sketches that I do tend to be fast sketches. They are normally a lot looser than my normal works and thus have a different quality to them which I think is interesting, at least to me, and hopefully to you as well.

In High School, I had my 1st major Art Exhibition for the Congress of the United States of America. I remember this being a big deal at the time. I found "Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition" while digging through old documents, so I decided to add it to my Bio, for "For Old Time's Sake". VIVA nostalgia!

I also created an archive for all the updates for 2005, the link will be at the top of this page for now. I hope you are all enjoying your Summer.

Lots to talk about this time around. First of all, I resized the last picture, so that now it loads faster and fits better on your computer screen. I also added a new color painting to the color gallery. Two of the publications, which I listed on this site, have finally been released! Well, actually, they had been out for a little bit but I just got my copies on Saturday. They are the Cartooning Portfolio Magazine - Class of 2005 and the Portfolio 26 book. Both books were published by the School of Visual Arts. The Cartooning Portfolio Magazine - Class of 2005 is more like a TPB than an actual magazine, it is a beautiful book and features fantastic comic book art and some pin ups as well, one of my paintings was chosen as a pin-up in the book, the painting can be seen in the B&W section of this site. Click here to see it. This book is a promotional book created for comic book publishers and art directors. However, I believe that SVA will be presenting the book at some select comic book conventions in New York City, which I believe is one of the few ways that someone from the public can perhaps get a copy. The another one is a beautiful book of mostly color paintings by illustration majors but also some B&W art, CGI and comic art too. The new painting which I added to the site with this update was the one that was selected to be part of this small but heavy book. It was also a promotional book created for art directors. Both books are fantastic collections of incredible artwork and I must say that I am quite proud and honored to be able to be a part of both of them.

I got a haircut, brought some new clothes, and filled out my taxes. That is no reason to update this web site of course. This is more of a teaser of what is to come to this site than an actual update to the site itself, besides changing the name of this section to NEWS. 2006 is shaping up to be a big year, so except some cool announcements and updates in the upcoming months. It is far too early to go into any details at this time, but that is why it is called a teaser, folks.
